Keith and Pete had decided to go grovel in Perryfoot Cave and Dr Jackson Cave, so we decided to go walking!! Paul suggested we do a walk that we did at the beginning of the year from Hollinscough, so that's what we did.
Growing up I never had a clue what I wanted to do so I trained as a secretary and I've been doing admin work every since. These days I just wish I worked outdoors! I love wildlife, woodland and water and I spend a lot of my time walking and caving with my partner, Paul and my brother, Keith. Paul and I live in an old lead mining village near Matlock, Derbyshire, but I grew up in Rugby, Warwickshire, which is where most of my friends and family still live.

Rose blooming
P8
Paul and I had a nice little trip into P8 so that I could have a bit of rigging practice. We even did an extra pitch (Boney Pitch) so that I had some extra rigging to do.
At the downstream sump there was an enormous amount of scum on the walls, well above my head (5'6"-ish) - not really surprising really considering the amount of rain we've had recently/yesterday. TUG 2.5 hours
